Automatically add chat transcripts as notes to a lead in the CRM
In the ClickDesk dashboard, go to SugarCRM Integration.
Enter your SugarCRM username, password and URL.
The SugarCRM plugin is now active in your ClickDesk account.
When a customer visits your website and enters their email address to initiate a live chat, your operator receives customer info pulled from the CRM.
Chat transcripts allow operators or other team members to access customer details for future reference. It's a useful way to track customers and provide the best service.
Once the integration with SugarCRM is set up, ClickDesk will automatically add chat transcripts to contact profiles in the CRM. The transcripts are added as notes.
In addition to the entire chat transcripts being added automatically when chats are complete, agents can add notes manually.
o add a note for an existing lead at any time during a chat conversation, use the '/note message' command, where "message" is the note content.
